New Month's Gallery | Southern Germany | March 2006

Hello to all, I would like to invite you for a visit to my new Month’s Gallery (March 2006), with images from Southern Germany (Bavaria), where I am photographing since the beginning of this month and shall stay until early May. I am here by invitation from the Cultural Department of the City of Munich and Casa do Brasil e.V. to take part in the “Macunaíma visits Bayern | Macunaíma besucht Bayern” project, where four Brazilian artists were chosen to develop their artwork during the period of two months, with expenses paid and a scholarship to help covering additional costs. Lodging and works will be done chiefly at Villa Waldberta, an international residence for artists located by Lake Starnberg in Feldafing, 40 minutes away from Munich. The purpose of this stay is to set up a series of exhibits that will start by late April and then will be taken to other European cities such as Berlin, London, Rome and Paris. I will be showing mainly my photographs from the Brazilian Pantanal and Bonito, combined with images that I shall collect in Germany’s natural environments during this two-month period. I hope you enjoy the pictures!
